Our client is a long-established digital agency with a background of success in B2B digital marketing and software development. They are now looking to hire a very experienced Group Account Director with in-depth expertise in performance marketing/lead generation to handle key accounts for clients here and overseas.
To be considered you must have very strong knowledge and experience of SEO to be able to talk authoritatively with clients on that side. Additionally, you should have experience in the other main areas of performance marketing too - PPC, social, CRM, CRO etc. During your career you should have had at least 2 years experience of working B2B accounts. This is essential.
This is a key role for the company in that you will effectively be second in command to the MD, so you should be a senior marketing professional used to working with clients at a senior level. Needless to say, you should have exceptional ability in collating and interpreting data and you should be able to present your findings to colleagues and clients alike.
Good negotiating skills are essential and you should be someone with a very strong grasp of marketing strategy as you will be presenting your vision to clients about how you can create exceptional results for them using the company's expertise.
You will be responsible for growing client accounts and for ensuring the profitability of each account so you should have excellent costing and planning skills and a knack for business development.
