Techno/Functional Oracle (ERP/Finance) Technical Support Consultant/ Oracle Cloud

Excellent opportunity for an Oracle Technical Consultant within this household name. You will join this international brand who has recently undergone an enterprise transformation programme to modernise its Finance division. The new role of Techno/Functional Oracle Technical Support Consultant will join a team that supports best practice for the business from a technical perspective as it integrates and embeds ERP business processes. This role is more weighted to Functional GL, AP, AR, CM, FA modules.

As the Oracle Technical Support Consultant, you will be the SME on the Oracle Cloud platform and duties will include supporting the Finance functions Oracle tools, documentation, security updates etc., designing and configuring Oracle to best practice solutions for the business.

You will ensure the Oracle process fulfils the business needs, monitoring and ensuring Oracle processes are working correctly (e.g. data transfer) and be responsible for Oracle problem and incident management. You will be a key person in helping guide this household name and establish best practice around support of the Oracle platform.

You will have demonstrable hands on Oracle implementation experience with particular experience of ERP and experience with GL, AP, AR, CM, FA modules. Any experience from the finance or insurance sector would be highly beneficial.

NB this role is 80% Functional & 20% Technical
